The GPS receiver tracks the route taken by the test vehicle.

GPS Receiver

The receiver is suited to a broad spectrum of system applications. Data that is recorded from the GPS includes:

• Date and time
• Latitude
• Longitude
• Altitude
• Speed

Weather Probe

This plug-and-play weather probe and shield provides accurate humidity and temperature readings used in the emissions calculations. The weather probe must be inserted in the shield provided with the unit. The shield protects against rain and solar radiation which could cause incorrect readings.

The Weather Probe and the GPS Receiver can be easily mounted to the outside of the vehicle using industrial suction cups (not provided).
